Ménélik

Ménélik (* 10. September 1970 in Yaounde , Cameroon ; bourgeois Albert Tjamag ) is a French hip-hop - musicians .

Tjamag moved to Paris when he was seven . There he attended the local school and university and successfully concluded a degree in Law from. In 1990 he met MC Solaar . He had a hit with the German band Gang No Sé . His first solo album Phenomenelik was released in 1995. In 1996 he won a Victoires de la Musique for best male young artist. In 1997 his second studio album followed under the title Je me souviens . After a label dispute in search of a new musical home, Ménélik released his third album in 2000, OQP with one song each by Charles Aznavour and Men at Work . His fourth album E-Pop from 2001 is his last album so far.
