The Menen Hotel is, next to the OD-N-Aiwo Hotel , the only hotel in the island state of Nauru . It is located on Cape Menen , in the Meneng district , on the east coast of Naurus. The manager and managing director is Roland Kun .
The hotel is located in the middle of a tropical park landscape lined with palm trees. Behind the hotel begins the fine white coral beach of Anibare Bay , where numerous bunker ruins from the time of the Japanese occupation in World War II have been preserved.
The hotel, which has a swimming pool, a small boutique , a hairdressing salon and two restaurants, has served as a venue for conferences of the Nauruan Phosphate Society and other organizations on several occasions . The annual National Dance , a government gala event, also takes place here.
It is around 15 minutes by car to the international airport .
