The menhir of Essertes-Auboranges ( French menhir d'Essertes-Auboranges ), also known as Pierre du dos à l'âne ( German  donkey back stone ), is a menhir from the Stone or Bronze Age (4500 to 1500 BC), which stands near the Chemin du Rosay and the Route du Menhir between Essertes (VD) and Auboranges (FR) on the Parimbot in the canton of Vaud , on the border with the canton of Friborg , in Switzerland and is considered the highest menhir in the country.

The pointed menhir is 5.6 m high and weighs around 25 t. For a long time, the stone was partially buried in a lying position and was considered a boulder . In the 1990s it was examined by archaeologists and placed in its current location.
