The Mentok Kangri I (or Mentok I or Mata ) is a mountain in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh .
The 6,270 m (according to other sources 6250, 6277 or 6343 m) high Mentok Kangri I in the Rupshu region in the southeast of Ladakh rises to the west of the 4,522 m high Tsomoriri Lake . 3.38 km northwest of Mentok Kangri I is the 6,210 m high side summit Mentok Kangri II .
