David Eberhard (2013)

David Eberhard (* 1966 in Sweden ) is a Swedish psychiatrist and author .

Life

Eberhard grew up in Åkarp in Skåne in southern Sweden and later in the university town of Lund as the youngest of five siblings. There were both psychiatrists and general practitioners among his ancestors. After studying medicine, he worked as a senior physician in the psychiatric emergency room at Stockholm's Sankt Göran Hospital. Today he works in the Psykiatri Nordost at Danderyd Hospital in Danderyd , Stockholm County.

Eberhard lives in Stockholm and is the father of eight children.

Since 2006, Eberhard has published four books dealing with psychiatric topics in his homeland. The book, published in 2013 Hur barnen tog Makten (German: 2015 Children in power ) describes his opinion that we are without authority consult brats and that the custodial parenting style do not get the children. To this end, Die Zeit printed an interview with the psychiatrist on March 12, 2015 on pages 71 and 72.
