Danderyd is a municipality ( Swed. Kommun ) in Sweden , the south of Stockholm borders. The municipality is part of the Stockholm County administrative unit .
history
The burial ground of Osby (also Ösby) is in Danderyd. Danderyd was created in 1971 through the merger of the municipalities of Danderyds köping and Djursholms stad . It consists of the four districts Danderyd , Djursholm , Enebyberg and Stocksund .
economy and politics
Danderyd is by far the richest municipality in Sweden, as many wealthy Stockholmers have settled in one of the villas in Danderyd. The politics in the community has been determined by the Moderate Gathering Party for years .
