Sofia Kristina Bernadotte, Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Värmland (* December 6, 1984 in Danderyd , Sweden , as Sofia Kristina Hellqvist ) has been the wife of Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland since June 13, 2015 . In her younger years Sofia u. a. as glamor - model and reality television known -Teilnehmerin.

Early life and career

Sofia Hellqvist was born in Danderyd to a Danish father and a Swedish mother and moved to Älvdalen when she was six years old . She has two sisters.

She studied accounting with IT applications at the Institute for English and Business in New York , specializing in business development . Sofia attended various courses such as global ethics , child and youth studies, child communication and about the UN Convention on the Rights of Children in Theory and Practice at Stockholm University .
