Oscar Carl Olof, Prince of Sweden, Duke of Skåne, (born March 2, 2016 in Solna ) is the second child of Victoria and Daniel of Sweden .

According to the Swedish Succession Act, he ranks third in the Swedish line of succession .

Prince Oscar was born on March 2, 2016, 8:28 p.m. local time, in Karolinska Hospital in Solna near Stockholm . On March 3, King Carl XVI. Gustaf the Konselj one to the birth and the name to officially announce. At the same time he announced that he had been appointed Duke of Scania (Skåne). He was baptized on May 27, 2016 in the chapel of the Royal Palace of Stockholm; his godparents are his aunt, Princess Madeleine of Sweden , Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark , Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway , his mother's cousin, Oscar Magnuson, and his father's cousin, Hans Åström.
