Bernd Christian von Schoenebeck

Bernd Christian von Schoenebeck (* 1645 in Ringenwalde in the district of Soldin , today Dyszno; † 1718 ) was the royal Prussian major general and commander of Kolberg .

Life

Military career

He became major in the Huet regiment in Magdeburg on October 24, 1688, and in 1689 commandant of the Pillau fortress . On December 31, 1691 he became a lieutenant colonel and on March 3, 1696 colonel. On December 29, 1696 he became the commandant of Kolberg. On December 19, 1709 he was promoted to major general and commander of the Micrander battalion in Kolberg, on October 16, 1713 he became chief of the battalion. He received his resignation on December 25, 1715 and a pension of 120 thalers a month.

His first wife was Hypolitha Sophie von Bismarck (* 1667; † before 1706). After her death he married Vigilantia Elisabeth von Dewitz , widow of Lieutenant Colonel Anton Günther de Meen († May 24, 1704). He is buried in the family's own patronage church.
