Mentor Zhubi (born May 1, 1984 ) is a Swedish football player . The midfielder has played his career in Sweden and Iceland so far.
Career
Zhubi started playing football at Eds FF . In 2001 he moved to the youth department of the traditional club Örgryte IS . There he made his debut two years later in the Allsvenskan , but could not prevail in the first two years. He was then loaned to Västra Frölunda IF in 2005 in order to be able to collect match practice in the Superettan . Although there were 18 appearances at the end of the season, he was only a substitute in 14 games. For the 2006 season he therefore went to Iceland to Leiknir Reykjavík .
For the 2007 season , Zhubi returned to ÖIS to help the club, which had meanwhile been relegated from the Swedish elite series, to rise again. In his first year he was part of the regular formation before he soon found himself only on the bench. After his contract expired at the end of 2008, he completed a trial training at Ljungskile SK before he decided to move to IK Oddevold . He signed a one-year contract with the third division .
After his contract expired, initially without a club, Zhubi joined IK Oddevold again in early 2011. After only half a year he moved to the fourth division Assyriska BK . Here, however, he only stayed half a season, at the end of his engagement he had two goals in ten league games. In February 2012 he signed another one-year contract with IK Oddevold. However, since Zhubi wanted to focus on a commitment to a club from the Gothenburg area and played futsal at the same time, the expiring contract was not extended at the end of 2012.
