The Mercator Knoll is a deep-sea mountain in the Lasarew Sea off the Princess Martha Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica .

It has been named since 1997 at the suggestion of the surveyor and glaciologist Heinrich Hinze from the Alfred Wegener Institute after the Flemish cartographer Gerhard Mercator (1512–1594), who in 1568 developed the projection method named after him to depict the surface of the earth at the correct angle.
