Meryem
Meryem is a Turkish female given name, which originally comes from the Hebrew name Miriam . That is in turn a modification of the name of St. Mary , which is described in the New Testament as the Virgin Mary . Mary is also mentioned in the Koran .
There is therefore no real meaning or translation of the name, but the name is often associated with piety.
