Merz special coated tablets

The Merz Spezial Dragees are a dietary supplement from Merz Pharma . They were brought onto the market in 1964, at that time still as pharmaceuticals.

Merz Spezial Dragees are said to have been a pioneer in the sale of cosmetics in pharmacies in the 1960s . The slogan “Natural beauty comes from within”, with which the Merz special coated tablets were advertised in the 1970s and 1980s, is still known today.

In a communication analysis conducted by the women's magazine Brigitte in 2008, Merz Spezial Dragees achieved an aided brand awareness of 54 percent in the group of 14 to 64-year-old women, and in the same series of studies in 2010 it was 59 percent among 14 to 70-year-old women. Merz himself mentions a level of awareness of 87 percent. In 2010, the product was rated “unsatisfactory” by Ökotest .

The agent contains vitamins A , B1 ( thiamine ), B2 ( riboflavin ), B3 ( niacin ), B5 ( pantothenic acid ), B6 , B7 ( biotin ), B9 ( folic acid ), B12 , C and E and the minerals iron and zinc and is available in drug stores and pharmacies.
