Merzenicher Strasse (Düren)

The Merzenicher road in the district town Düren ( North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a historic city road .

The street begins at Friedrich-Ebert-Platz and heads east to Merzenich . The Kölner Landstrasse runs parallel to it . The road passes under the Bördebahn . The street leads past the back of the Düren hospital .

history

The street is already mentioned in the morning number files of 1685. In 1884 the city council decided to expand from Kreuzberg to Merzenich.

A plaque is attached to the houses at Merzenicher Strasse 84 and 86 , which refers to the founder.
