Mescitli (formerly Kızılmescit ) is a village in the district of Muş Province Muş in eastern Turkey . Mescitli is about 58 km northeast of the provincial capital Muş. Mescitli had 524 inhabitants according to the last census (as of December 2010). The population consists mainly of Ossetians .
