Meskerem Mamo (born April 13, 1999 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Meskerem Mamo gained her first international experience at the 2016 African Championships in Durban , where she finished fourth in the 5000 meter run in 15: 18.06 minutes . The following year she won the Junior African Championships in Tlemcen in 15: 37.13 minutes and in 2018 she won the bronze medal at the African Championships in Asaba in 15: 57.38 minutes behind the Kenyan Hellen Obiri and her compatriot Senbere Teferi .
