Degree in meteorology
As a meteorology study the training is to meteorologists called. It ends with the Bachelor of Science or Master of Science .
Structure of the course
In the first two to three semesters , mathematics and physics are mainly taught, while meteorology itself only makes up about a quarter of the course during this time. In the following three semesters, students are given a broad knowledge of various areas of meteorology, such as synoptic meteorology , statistical methods , measurement technology and chemistry . In the master’s degree, this knowledge is expanded, especially in the area of modeling .
