Metin Aslan (born March 4, 1978 in Linz ) is an Austrian football player who is active on the position of central defender .

Career

Aslan began his career with the youth teams of the ATSV Sankt Martin bei Traun. In 1998 he came to SV Pasching , which he left again in 2000 to move to BSV Bad Bleiberg . Just one year later, in 2001, Aslan came back to his former club, SV Pasching. In his playing time from 2001 to 2003 he completed 32 games and scored one goal. In 2003, the man of Turkish origin received an offer from the Turkish second division club, Manisaspor , which he also accepted. For Tarzanlar , as the team from Manisa is also called, he completed 23 competitive games in the 2003/04 season. In 2005 Aslan transferred within Turkey to Antalyaspor , where he came to 49 competitive games and one goal. In the summer of 2008 he left AS , as Antalyaspor was nicknamed, and joined Alanyaspor . After a mixed season on the Turkish Riviera , he was temporarily without a club in autumn 2011 until FC Pasching signed him for the 2011/12 winter break.
