Metin Kasak

Metin Chjusein Kazak (also spelled Metin Hyusein Kazak , Bulgarian Метин Хюсеин Казак ; born  July 29, 1972 in Targovishte ) is a Bulgarian politician for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), also known as the "Turkish Party" and a member of the European Parliament . In addition to Bulgarian, Kasak speaks French, English and Russian, and the politician Tschetin Kasak is his twin brother.

In 1997, Metin Kasak completed his master's degree specializing in international and European law at the University of Burgundy in Dijon . After graduating, several internships followed in France, Turkey and the USA. In 1998 he was an intern in the administration of the President of Bulgaria, Petar Stoyanov . In 1999 he joined Radio France Internationale (RFI) - Bulgaria and several private companies.

Between 2000 and 2001, Kasak was an expert on the staff of Alexander Pramatarski in the ministry without portfolio in the government of Ivan Kostov . Between 2001 and 2005 he was an expert on the staff of Filis Chusmenowa , who also held the post of Minister without Portfolio, but in the government of Simeon Sakskoburggotski .

In 2005, Kazak was elected Deputy Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria by the Bulgarian National Assembly, which he remained until 2007.

2007 Metin Kazak was at the European elections in 2007 , from the list of DPS, which is in the region of Kardzhali the strongest political force as member of the European Parliament elected. In the 2009 elections he was confirmed in his post.

In the 7th European Parliament he is Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee on Human Rights.
