Metiochus (sculptor)
Metiochos ( ancient Greek Μητίοχος ) was an ancient Greek sculptor .
Metiochos is known only from two signatures on bases from Oropos . Both were intended for equestrian statues and are made around the year 300 BC. Dated. No sculptures have survived or can not be attributed to him. The bases were later recycled .
