Heinrich B. Siedentopf

Heinrich Bernhard Siedentopf (* 1935 ) is a German classical archaeologist .

Siedentopf studied classical archeology in Tübingen and received his doctorate there in 1964 with the thesis "Hellenistic equestrian statues". In 1965/66 he received a travel grant from the German Archaeological Institute . From 1966 to 2004 he worked as an editor for the Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum Germany at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences . He took part in excavations in Samos , Tiryns and Aegina .

In addition, he emerged as an author of short stories and the reconstruction of ancient Greek music.
