Soon (own spelling "[SOON]" or, according to the old spelling, "[soon]") is a dark rock band from Hamburg .
history
[SOON] was founded in 2003 in Hamburg. In the same year the band began to play concerts all over Germany with their own song material, reinforced with bass and drums.
In 2006 the band's debut album, End Isolation , was released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France. The follow-up album Without a Trace was released in 2007 and enabled the band to perform numerous regular appearances at festivals (including Fährmannsfest Hannover , Höpen Air , Wutzrock ), as well as in clubs all over Germany (e.g. Backstage in Munich, Große Freiheit 36 in Hamburg, Matrix in Bochum) and Austria. In 2011 the third album Lonely Way was released. The fourth album Dead-end Street was released on October 25, 2013.
style
[SOON] combine elements of metal and modern hard rock / dark rock in their music . Hard guitar riffs and clear melodic English-speaking vocals dominate the songs of the band . This is complemented by a sophisticated rhythmic work of drums and bass, a subtle use of atmospheric keyboards and striking guitar solos . The Sonic Seducer characterizes the music of [SOON] as "experimental, varied, extraordinary, but still through and through like a piece."
