Metro (band)

Metro is an international fusion band.

The group was founded in 1994 by Chuck Loeb ( guitar ) and Mitchel Forman ( keyboard ) on the occasion of a European tour, because they wanted to realize their musical ideas themselves. Further founding members are Wolfgang Haffner ( drums ) and Anthony Jackson ( bass ).

In 1995 Jackson left the group and was replaced by Victor Bailey . 2001 Bailey left the group again, since then Mel Brown and then from 2007 Will Lee on bass. In 2013 the band performed with changing bassists in Japan and in Germany, where they played with the WDR Big Band Cologne .
