Life

The on the West Coast of the United States was born as the daughter of Chris and Claire Talerico Mia Talerico got her first role in 2010, when she in July 2009 after successful completion of casting in the cast of the Walt Disney Company produced sitcom Good Luck Charlie was taken . It has been used in every episode since then until the series was discontinued in 2014. In the television series she had the title role of Charlotte "Charlie" Duncan .

The president of Disney Channel Worldwide , Gary Marsh , said in an interview that Mia Talerico at the time of casting just ten months old, posed the greatest risk in the production of the series. Before that, they looked for identical twins or triplets to take on the lead role in the series, as the law made it difficult to shoot with a single toddler continuously. Another advantage of having twins or triplets would have been that if one child had failed, the next one could have been brought to the shoot straight away. This was done, for example, in the 1980s for the television series Full House with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen . However, since the production team failed in the search for identical twins or triplets who would have been suitable for the role, it was finally decided to include Mia Talerico in the cast.

Talerico's personal milestones in real life are also reflected in the series. That's why Claire Talerico, little Mia's mother, was constantly interviewed by the producers about what Mia does in real life and what words she speaks in order to then incorporate this into the history of the sitcom.
