action
Three days before Christmas Eve, the Duncan family is on their way to Palm Springs to spend Christmas with their grandparents in their new house. During the trip, Teddy tries to persuade her parents to allow her a trip to spring break. At the airport , her completely exasperated father, Bob, allows it, provided she can pay for her ticket herself. On the plane, Teddy accepts the airline's offer of a free flight if she voluntarily leaves the plane due to overbooking. Amy eventually accompanies her daughter to avoid leaving her to go to Palm Springs alone.
While Bob and his children PJ, Gabe and Charlie pass the time with their grandparents, Teddy and Amy try everything to get to Palm Springs on time for Christmas, and they can do whatever means they can. After an uncomfortable bus ride in which they are thrown out, they acquire an old Jugo , with whom they almost have an accident. After some turbulence, they come to Las Vegas , where their luggage is stolen by a young runaway. While trying to get money, Amy and Teddy get closer again and speak out. In the end, they even manage to be with their family for Christmas after all. The mother of four also announces that she is pregnant.
