Raven Goodwin

Raven Goodwin (born June 24, 1992 in Washington, DC ; born Raven Tyshanna Goodwin ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Goodwin has been an actress since the age of four. She played her first film role in the 2001 comedy Lovely & Amazing by Nicole Holofcener . There she played the African-American adopted daughter of Jane Marks ( Brenda Blethyn ), who with Elizabeth ( Emily Mortimer ) and Michelle ( Catherine Keener ) also have two daughters of their own Has. For this role, she was nominated in 2003 for the Independent Spirit Award and for the Black Reel Award .

In the comedy film Station Agent (2003) Goodwin appeared on the side of Peter Dinklage . She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award and for the Phoenix Film Critics Society Award in 2004 along with a number of other actors . In the comedy Phat Girlz (2006) she played Jazmin Biltmore , who was portrayed as an adult by Mo'Nique , in her childhood. She played one of the bigger roles in the drama All About Us (2007). She also plays Ivy in the Disney Chanel series My Sister Charlie.
