Michèle Fitoussi

Michèle Fitoussi (* 1954 in Tunis ) is a French journalist and columnist for the French edition of the international women's magazine Elle .

As the author of several novels and screenwriter, she co-authored the autobiography La Prisonnière , a depiction of the Moroccan prison system , with the Moroccan Malika Oufkir in 1999 . The book was later translated into English under the title Stolen Lives: Twenty Years in a Desert and featured in Oprah's Book Club in 2001 .

Fitoussi is married to Nicolas Domenach .
