Oprah's Book Club
Oprah's Book Club is a book discussion club founded by US presenter Oprah Winfrey on The Oprah Winfrey Show . Oprah Winfrey uses her popularity and shows to introduce books. This usually leads to a sharp increase in sales, as for example with Bernhard Schlink's novel The Reader . These books can be purchased as a member of Oprah's Book Club . On June 1, 2012, Version 2.0 of the Book Club was announced, a joint venture between the Oprah Winfrey Network and O magazine , The Oprah Magazine .
