After the defender could not assert himself there and not recommend for the professional department, he was without a club between July 2012 and January 2013.

In January 2013 Koj moved again to Poland and first came to the first team via the second team from Pogoń Stettin and played four games in the 2013/14 season and only two games in the following season. Koj was only able to gain a foothold in the Ekstraklasa when he switched to league and local rivals Ruch Chorzów , for whom he played in his youth. For the traditional Upper Silesian club and record champions, he played 26 games in the 2015/16 season and also scored four goals.

Since 2017 he has been playing again with his youth club Górnik Zabrze . Here he was used for the first time in qualifying for the Europa League on July 19, 2018 .
