Michał Marcinkiewicz

Michał Marcinkiewicz (born February 26, 1984 in Stettin ( Szczecin )) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform).

Life

Michał Marcinkiewicz grew up in Szczecin, Poland, and became a member of the Young Democrats ( Młodzi Demokraci ) when he was 15 . Michał Marcinkiewicz studied economics at the University of Szczecin on Magister . Between 2002 and 2004 he worked at the European Parliament . In 2006 he became a member of the City Council of Szczecin. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 Marcinkiewicz ran in constituency 41 Stettin and was able to move into the Sejm as the youngest member of the legislative period with 22,073 votes . There he has been a member of the Commissions for Public Finance ( Komisja Finansów Publicznych ) and International Affairs ( Komisja Spraw Zagranicznych ) since 2007 and of the Commission for Reducing Bureaucracy ( Komisja Nadzwyczajna "Przyjazne Państwo" do spraw związanych z ograniczaniem biurokracji ) since 2008 .
