Michael Ambichl (born April 26, 1991 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian soccer player .
Career
Ambichl started his career at SC Pyhra. In 2005 he went to AKA St. Pölten. In 2008 he played for the SKN St. Pölten in the regional league for the first time . In 2008 he was able to celebrate his promotion to professional football. He made his professional debut on the 6th matchday 2008/09 against 1. FC Vöcklabruck . On the 9th matchday 2015/16 against Floridsdorfer AC he gave his 200th league game. In 2016 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with SKN St. Pölten .
After 319 appearances in the top three divisions for the SKN, he left the club after the 2019/20 season after 15 years with the club.
