Michael Anton Fuetscher
Michael Anton Fuetscher (born July 21, 1774 in Ludesch ; † November 11, 1827 in Frankfurt am Main ) was an Austro-German painter .
Life
Fuetscher was born in Ludesch in Vorarlberg in 1774 , his father was also a painter. He studied in Vienna and worked in Frankfurt am Main from 1807. He became a citizen there in 1822 and died five years later.
Works
- 1814: Tschagguns parish church , frescoes of the burnt offering , Moses in front of the burning bush , consecration of the temple by King Solomon , election of Saul as the first king of Israel and his anointing by the prophet Samuel as well as the stations of the cross.
- 1815: New parish church Ludesch , frescoes of St. Sebastian before Emperor Maximilian , Solomon's temple consecration , agar in the desert .
