Michael C. Botticelli (born July 10, 1959 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is a retired American figure skater .
Botticelli competed in pair skating with Sheryl Franks . Between 1977 and 1980 they were third four times in the US Figure Skating Championships . As a result, they also qualified for the World Championships in those years. In 1977 , 1978 and 1979 they finished ninth three times in a row, and in 1980 they finished tenth. Also in 1980 Botticelli and Franks took part in the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . They finished the tournament in seventh place.
