Sheryl Franks (born May 26, 1961 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is a former American figure skater .
Franks competed in pair skating with Michael Botticelli . Together they were third at the national championships from 1977 to 1980 and qualified for the figure skating world championships in those years. They finished ninth in 1977 , 1978 and 1979 , and in 1980 they finished tenth. In the same year Franks and Botticelli took part in the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . There they finished seventh.
After the end of her active career, Franks worked as a trainer and founded her own figure skating school in West Newton, Massachusetts .
