Michael Braun (journalist, 1957)
Michael Braun (* 1957 ) is a German political scientist and journalist . He's since 2000 Italy - correspondent of the daily newspaper . He has lived in Rome since 1996 and is the program director of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation there .
Braun received his doctorate with a dissertation on the Italian trade unions.
In 2013 the Istituto di Studi Federalisti awarded him the Altiero Spinelli Prize for his reporting on European unification
