Michael Dannereder

Michael Dannereder (born September 25, 1879 in Alkoven (Upper Austria) , † June 8, 1929 in Linz ) was an Austrian baker and politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party of Austria (SDAP).

Life and work

Michael Dannereder had his wandering years from 1897 to 1904 , was head baker and head of the Spatenbrotwerke (workers bread factories) in Linz . In 1903 he founded the baking workers' organization in Wels . From 1905 to 1920 he was head of the local branch of the bakery organization in Linz, and from 1913 to 1918 district steward. From December 31, 1919 to November 9, 1920 he was a member of the Constituent National Assembly ; from 1921 to 1924 he was a member of the Linz municipal council and from 1922 to 1925 a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament . Also from 1922 to 1928, in addition to his political duties, he assumed the office of chairman of the political section of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor and Employees .
