Michael Hüppi

Michael Hüppi (* 1956 ) is a Swiss lawyer and sports official.

Life

Hüppi was born in 1956 and is entitled to live in Gommiswald . He studied law at the University of Bern and received his doctorate there. In 1987 he was admitted to the bar. Hüppi lives in St. Gallen . His brother is the former TV sports presenter and current FC St. Gallen President Matthias Hüppi .

From 1985 to 1986 Hüppi was a substitute at the District Court of Gossau . He has been with the law firm Schoch, Auer & Partner in St. Gallen since 1987, and has been a partner since 1992.

Hüppi is involved in the Christian Democratic People's Party . In 2011 he ran unsuccessfully for the Cantonal Council of St. Gallen .

Sports

At the football club FC St. Gallen , Hüppi was President of the Business Club, one of the four donor associations of the football club, and from 2008 to 2010 President of FC St. Gallen. He later became vice president of the football club.
