Michael H.-J. Lips (born May 7, 1967 in Zurich ) is a former curling player from Switzerland and representative of the Swisscurling Association at the World Curling Federation .

Lips grew up in Urdorf . In the 1987/88 season he came to the Curling Club Kloten . There he met Daniel Model , Beat Stephan and Richard Mähr . In 1988 he became Swiss champion in curling and, at the age of 21, took part in the World Championships in Lausanne .

He is a social security specialist with a federal diploma. Qualifications and works as an auditor for an association compensation fund.

Michael Lips is married and has two children.
