Michael Hofer (philosopher)
Michael Hofer (* 1966 in Steyr ) is an Austrian philosopher .
Life
He completed his studies in philosophy, German and theology in Vienna , Frankfurt am Main and at Georgetown University as Magister Theologiae and Dr. phil. from. He was a consultant at ORF television / religion. Since October 1st, 2006 he has been teaching as a professor for theoretical philosophy at the KU Linz .
His main research interests are hermeneutics , epistemology , metaphysics , Kant and German idealism and theories of subjectivity.
