Michael Kaingu

Michael Kaingu (born February 2, 1952 ) is a Zambian politician and was also the chief manager of the Kozo Lodge near Choma until it was destroyed by a fire in October 2015 .

In the 2006 election in Zambia , Michael Kaingu won the mandate of the Mwandi constituency between Livingstone (120 kilometers) and Sesheke in the National Assembly - but is not officially designated as such.

Michael Kaingu was appointed Deputy Minister for Tourism, Environment and Nature Conservation in October 2006, with his core responsibility being tourism.

In February 2015, Kaingu became Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Early Education . Since October 2015 he has been Minister for Higher Education in Zambia.
