Claudine Moulin

Claudine Moulin (born February 9, 1962 in Luxemburg ) is a Germanist and professor at the universities of Trier (since 2003) and Luxemburg .

She received her doctorate from the University of Bamberg in 1989 and qualified as a professor in 1999 . The subject of her dissertation was the use of capital letters in Luther's German letters, the habilitation thesis dealt with Würzburg Old High German . She also presented a two-volume bibliography of German grammars and orthography from the beginning of tradition up to the year 1700.

From autumn 2005 to summer 2009 she was the spokeswoman for the historical and cultural research center in Trier , of which she is still a member. Among other things, she deals with the history of the language and dialectology of Luxembourgish and is leading a project to create a digital Luxembourgish language atlas .

In December 2010 Moulin was awarded the Academy Prize of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate . Since 2013 she has been a member of the University Council of the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg .
