Michael Kilian (journalist)
Michael Kilian (born July 16, 1939 in Toledo , † October 26, 2005 in Washington, DC ) was an American journalist , columnist and author . He was especially known together with Dick Locher ( cartoonist ) with the book for the film Dick Tracy , which Warren Beatty - based on the comic by Chester Gould - filmed. Kilian wrote over 6,000 articles in his 40-plus year career with the Chicago Tribune .
