Randy West
Randy West (born October 12, 1947 in New York , New York , USA ; actually Andrew Jay Abrams ) is an American porn actor and producer who became famous in the 1980s.
Life
West was a folk , country and rock singer prior to his porn career . He starred in his first film in 1978 and has since acted in around 1,300 porn films and has directed over 200.
West grew up in New York and lived in Florida for ten years , where he a. a. also played baseball at the University of Miami . After his first role in the film Mystique , he went to California. In the August 1980 issue of Playgirl magazine, he was featured as a centerfold. He later performed with the male strip group Chippendales .
In 1993 he released the first edition of the Up & Cummers series on video as a producer , which was an instant hit. He shot the first sex scenes of the porn star Jenna Jameson before she had worldwide success and still without breast implants . West, who is the managing director of the production company Randy West Productions, Inc., is now producing three more series in addition to this series.
West was the body double for Robert Redford in the Hollywood film An Immoral Offer . He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Free Speech Coalition in 1993.
He was inducted into the AVN (Adult Video News) Hall of Fame , FOXE (Fans of X-Rated Entertainment) Hall of Fame, and XRCO (X-Rated Critics Association) Hall of Fame .
In 2012 he was one of the interviewees for the documentary After Porn Ends .
