Michael Kittner
Michael Kittner (* 1941 ) is a German legal scholar and labor lawyer .
Life
Kittner studied from 1960 to 1964 at the University of Munich , completed his legal clerkship from 1965 to 1968 and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD.
He was a professor for economic , labor and social law at the University of Kassel and also legal counsel for IG Metall for almost 25 years . In this function he accompanied the entire industrial action and exerted a decisive influence on the development of legal policy. He was also the managing director of the Otto Brenner Foundation for many years .
He is also the founder and publisher of the text collection of labor and social order, which has been published annually for over 40 years .
