Michael Liewald
Michael Liewald (born July 31, 1990 in Pegnitz ) is a German guitarist, composer, designer, photographer and founding member of the band Winterstorm .
Musical career
In addition to several tours through Europe, he played at various festivals such as Wacken Open Air , Summer Breeze Open Air, Rockharz Open Air , Masters of Rock Festival, Metal-Fest , Ragnaröck Festival , Festival Mediaval etc.
His musical career began when he was two years old when he discovered rock music and thus a little later his enthusiasm for the guitar. He has been actively on stage since 2005 and is constantly developing his musical work within and outside of the Winterstorm group, which was founded in 2008 .
In addition to occasional guest appearances as a studio singer, he is responsible for songwriting, arrangement, recording, production, singing and all creative work such as design, artwork, layout and photography.
In 2016, the fourth Winterstorm work called "Cube of Infinity" rose to number 31 on the official German album charts .
Michael Liewald plays and represents Ibanez guitars .
The band Winterstorm has been under contract with the record label AFM since 2019 .
