The Laktionow Glacier ( Russian Ледник Лактионова Lednik Laktionowa ) is a glacier in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Conrad Mountains of Orvinfjella, it is located southwest of the Henry moraine on the northwest flank of Bjerkenuten .
Russian scientists named him after Alexander Fyodorowitsch Laktionow (1899-1965), Soviet sea ice researcher at the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute in Leningrad and head of the department there for oceanography, ice forecasts and estuaries from 1927 until his death.
