Michael Andrew Michelau (born July 12, 1994 in Trevor , Wisconsin ) is an American volleyball player .
Career
Michelau studied at Erskine College in Due West from 2012 to 2016 and played on the college team. After completing his studies, he went to the Estonian association Bigbank Tartu . With Tartu he reached the national cup final and was third in the league. He then moved to Järvamaa VK within the league . There, however, he canceled his contract after half a season because the club had financial difficulties and could not get him a work visa . In 2018 he was signed by the Swedish first division club Falkenbergs VBK . With the club he won the Swedish Cup and reached the playoff semi-finals. In 2019 Michelau moved to the German Bundesliga club SVG Lüneburg .
