Richard Peemüller (born February 8, 1998 in Dresden ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

At the beginning of his volleyball career, Peemüller was active in various clubs in his hometown. In the 2016/17 season he played with VC Dresden in the second Bundesliga south. Then the diagonal attacker moved to league competitor SV Fellbach , where he moved up from the second team, which was active in the third division, to the second division team. At the beginning of February 2019, he was briefly signed by Bundesliga club TV Rottenburg for the rest of the season to replace an injured player. The club fit the league as eleventh in the table. Peemüller switched to Bundesliga promoted Heitec Volleys Eltmann .

Career Beach

In beach volleyball, Peemüller took part in various youth tournaments with changing partners from 2014 to 2017. Since 2016 he has also played German tournaments in categories 1 and 2. In June 2019, he competed for the first time in the Techniker Beach Tour with Manuel Harms in Dresden . The duo moved into the main draw at short notice and reached the final. After a ninth place at the German university championship with Julian Schupritt , Peemüller completed the four beach tournaments of the Techniker Beach Tour with Harms and once with Eric Stadie , where he reached thirteenth and ninth places twice. The points collected were enough to qualify for the German Beach Volleyball Championship 2019 . Harms / Peemüller achieved thirteenth place in Timmendorfer Strand . Harms / Peemüller qualified again for the German championship via the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 .
