Jonas Sagstetter (born April 21, 1999 in Landshut ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Sagstetter got into volleyball through his parents. He started his career in 2005 in his hometown Landshut. With ASV Dachau he was German U18 champion. In September 2014 he had his first appearance in the second Bundesliga south at Dachau . At the same time, the German junior national player with a second game right was in the youth team VC Olympia Kempfenhausen . From 2015 to 2017 Sagstetter was active with the Frankfurt volleyball boarding school in the 2nd Bundesliga North. He then moved to the newly founded German-Austrian Bundesliga club Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching , where he was the only German player in the squad. Sagstetter has been playing for newly promoted Bundesliga club Heitec Volleys Eltmann since 2019 . After the bankruptcy of the Eltmann volleyball club, Jonas returned to Utzweg and played for TSV Unterhaching .

Career Beach

Jonas Sagstetter playing with his younger brother Benedict also volleyball . The brothers had their first joint appearance in 2013 at the U17 national cup in Damp . In the following years they took part in national championships and German championships in different age groups. In 2015 they became Bavarian champions of the U17 and U18 and 2016 of the U18 and U19. In 2017 they became German U19 champions in Kiel-Schilksee and German U20 champions in Berlin in 2018 . In 2019 the brothers also played on the Techniker Beach Tour in Dresden . After the end in the group phase of the first tournament of the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 , the brothers qualified for the German beach volleyball championship in September at the second tournament .
