Merten Krüger (born November 8, 1990 in Hamburg ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Krüger began his volleyball career in 1999 at Bramfelder SV and moved to 1. VC Norderstedt in 2001 . In 2006 he went to Berlin and became a junior national player with the VC Olympia junior team. In the capital, the son of first division volleyball player Arwed Krüger attended the sports elite school of the Coubertin high school. After his first Bundesliga season, he moved to the Wuppertal Titans in 2009 . A year later evivo Düren signed him up . In Düren, Krüger took on the role of Ilja Wiederschein's first player and solved the task so successfully that he was named the newcomer of the season by volleyball magazine . In 2013, Krüger switched to the newly promoted VSG Coburg / Grub . In 2014 Krüger went to Austria for TSV Hartberg . In 2015 he moved back to Franconia and has since played with the Oshino Volleys Eltmann in the 2nd Bundesliga.
